3RD GRAND CANYON HISTORY SYMPOSIUM (CaLL FOR PAPERS)
Grand Canyon Village, South Rim, Grand Canyon National Park
The Grand Canyon Historical Society has issued a Call for Papers for the 3rd Grand Canyon History Symposium to be held at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon over the weekend of January 26-29, 2012. Papers on any topic related to the Grand Canyon and surrounding area are welcome and selected presenters will receive free lodging at the park during the symposium. Paper proposals must be received by June 16, 2011.

Eighth Annual Western History Symposium
Sharlot Hall Museum, Prescott, AZ
8th Annual Western History Symposium at Sharlot Hall Museum, 415 W. Gurley St., Prescott, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at the Hotel St. Michael at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to this annual gathering of historians, educators and authors that features intriguing presentations about the Old West and the Arizona Territory.
